Why a season, not a snapshot
A single flight is one chapter of a longer story.
One flight tells you where the block stands today. It cannot tell you which way things are moving. The second flight is where the value shows: what improved, what held, and what slipped. A season program strings those chapters together, so a slow change in one corner gets caught while it is still a small fix instead of a harvest story.

The season, month by month
How a season program runs.
The calendar is simple on purpose. Four kinds of flight carry the whole season.
- Spring baseline. One flight before the canopy fills in, so the season starts with a clean reference for every block.
- Monthly in-season flights. The same blocks, flown the same way, through the growing months. Each flight comes back as that month's report.
- Late-season check. A flight near harvest that sets the season's pattern against your own scouting before the fruit comes off.
- Post-harvest recap. A season review that walks block by block through what changed, what responded, and what to watch next spring.

Why not satellite
Free satellite pixels are about ten metres wide.
Free satellite imagery has its place on broad-acre ground. But a Sentinel-class satellite pixel is roughly ten metres across: an entire run of vines, the ground between the rows, and the shadows, averaged into one blur. Our maps resolve individual rows, and every flagged zone comes with a pin you can walk to. In a vineyard, the pattern that matters is usually smaller than one satellite pixel.

Straight talk
What the maps do, and what they leave to people.
The maps show relative vigor patterns for grower and agronomist review. They tell you where to look first, and they do that well. They do not diagnose the cause, and they do not prescribe treatment. Water, nutrients, disease, soil: telling those apart is ground work. A monitoring program is not a replacement for an agronomist, an irrigation inspection, lab testing, or ground truthing. It makes all of those sharper by pointing them at the right spots.

Season monitoring, answered.
When does the season start?
The baseline flight goes in early spring, before the canopy fills. From there the monthly flights follow the growing season through to a late check near harvest. The exact dates are set around your blocks at the scope call, not the other way around.
Can I start mid-season?
Yes. Your first flight becomes the baseline and every month after that builds the comparison. Starting in July still means the late summer, the harvest run-up, and the post-harvest recap are all covered, and next spring starts with a full year behind it.
What if I only want one flight?
Then book one flight. The Snapshot is a complete deliverable on its own: report, map, pins, and files. And if you decide later that you want the season, that flight becomes your baseline. Nothing is wasted.
Who owns the data?
You do. Every file we deliver is yours: the reports, the maps, the zone files, all of it. If you change providers or bring the work in-house, the data goes with you.
Do you work with my agronomist?
Yes. Their files are included every month: the flagged zones as SHP, GeoPackage, and KML, ready for the tools they already use. Many growers simply forward the monthly link. More general questions live on the main questions page.
