I'm Bradley Kendal, and Kendal Ventures is my company, based here in Summerland. I spent seven-plus years working Okanagan vineyards and construction sites before I started flying them. Now I map that same ground with a drone and hand people back something they can actually use.

The founder

Bradley Kendal

I've spent more than seven years working Okanagan ground: vineyard seasons, civil construction, running machinery on the crews that build this valley. That's how I learned the way this land sits, and what it takes to do a job on it right.

The drone work pulls all of that together. I'm a Transport Canada-certified RPAS pilot, and I fly the same vineyards and worksites I already know from the ground, then do the processing myself, from planning the flight to handing over the finished files. Nobody else touches it. I build websites the same way, by hand, for local businesses, made to get found.

Kendal Ventures is a Summerland company, incorporated in 2026, and I work right across the South Okanagan.

How we work

Three things I care about.

Precision

When a job calls for it, I fly with RTK and georeference the results. If a job is worth flying, it is worth getting the numbers right and handing you something you can actually use.

Straight answers

Clear scope, honest limits, plain language. If I'm not the right fit for a job, I'll tell you early, not after the invoice.

Local accountability

Based in Summerland, working South Okanagan ground. I quote your job, I fly it, and I hand you the result myself. Nothing gets subcontracted out.

Beyond the business

Available to help the community.

Wildfire and missing people are part of life in this valley, and a drone in the right hands can take some weight off a hard day. I volunteer my time and aircraft to local search-and-rescue, fire, and emergency crews, and I'm working through the accreditation (CASARA on the air side, plus the local ground search-and-rescue team) that lets a volunteer pilot be tasked safely and legally.

This is volunteer work, not a service: flown at no charge, only on an agency's authority and tasking, never on our own initiative, and it doesn't replace the trained crews who run these operations.
